So Everton have reveald a £111 million loss in the past 13 months who by by the way have similar revenues to us.This is despite loans from Moshiri of £350 million over the past few seasons, interest free of course. This means the aggregated loss over 3 years is £94 million just within the level allowed . Along comes Usmanov and agrees £30m naming right for a stadium thats not even started on. Oh well money talks s they say

Interesting figures but whilst we are 7th in the premiership with an income of 190 m Arsenal are 6th with an income of 390 m.So the top 6 are on a different level when it comes to revenue. .Yet Arsenal and Spurs say they cant match City and Liverpool when it come to squads.

Surely our wage bill fell considerably this season after getting rid of some big earners?

Transfer costs are an investment. It’s the wage costs that are most relevant. Ours go up constantly.

So we have the 7th highest level of income in the league.
Should equate to the 7th highest wage bill, 7th greatest transfer expenditure, and never equate to being relegated.
That is of course unless the place is hopelessly mismanaged!
Would like to see a list of the league's non-player related costs. That could be really eye opening. Do we have no money because our non playing costs are greater than everyone else's, because the playing staff is full of overpaid failures, or because the revenue for the 18th richest club in the world is vanishing into the ether?!

I'm sure David Gold has said a few times that your league position is linked to how much money you spend.
ie - the one that spends the most usually wins the league, the one that spends the 10th most will finish around 10th etc
I'm sure ive seen him post that on Twitter. I think he did it in a way to make himself look better... but can't remember the context.
Anyway. sooner he goes the better
